For many markets around the world, post 2019 model year 2.5 TFSI cars have a Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF, sometimes known as PPF/OPF).
In most countries it is illegal to remove or modify the GPF. For these countries, Stage 2 mapping would therefore be illegal.
Stage Comparison / GPF cars
For 2.5 TFSI 2019+ DNWA (WLTP GPF models). These cars can only be modified to Stage 1 or Stage 1+. Stage 1+ requires hardware upgrades, but retains the GPF.
